Somedays are better than others.

Somedays, I wake up with a smile on my face, ready to take on the world.
I feel strong and capable.
Nothing can bring me down.

Somedays I wake up and automatically know my day will be difficult.
I have no hope.
I want to crawl back into bed and cry. 
I’m not ready to face life’s challenges.
I beg for mercy.
I get none.

Other days are a mixture.
I wake up ready to go but get torn down by life’s obstacles. 
Those days are the worst.
I’m a failure.
I can’t keep going. 
I surrender. 

Life is an ongoing war.
The battles can be tough.
Sometimes I’m simply outnumbered.
Other times, i come out victorious.
It’s a war that I’ll fight until my death.
I’ll win some battles as well as lose some.
I’ll push forward with everything I have in hopes that, in the end, the war is mine to win.
